Hollywood loves to adapt videogames, comics and other outside media whenever it happens to run low on ideas. That's why we get crap like Max Payne. One medium studios have almost completely shied away from, however, is anime. With its over-the-top characters and situations, anime doesn't tend to translate well to live-action. Still, Hollywood is going to give it a shot with one of the most popular anime of them all. Next spring, Dragonball: Evolution will attempt to bring the Dragonball manga and anime to life. Unlike the last time this was tried, some actual money is being spent to get the project off the ground.
