Jack Costume When my son was in 1st grade, we wanted to make a really fun costume for him. The store bought costumes seemed so boring, so we decided that we would make a  Jack from Jack in the Box costume! This took some planning ahead, as we had to paper mache the head. We used a blown up beach ball and did several layers (letting them dry in between). After the Jack head was completely dry and sturdy, my husband cut out holes for his eyes (we didn't especially want my son to trip over things he couldn't see
